The use of texture helps to distinguish the different patters in the design or the two different recycling symbols. Texture also helps to provide much detail on the green recycling symbol. This detail helps to show the shallow space the symbol resides in to the viewer. The the lighter detail in the background helps to provide a deeper sense of space with less detail as well. 2. The purple and green go well together, yet the yellow doesn't tend to stand out due to it being a bright color on top of a bright color. Overall, color is used quite well in this composition and is used to reenforce the topic of "green". The first thing that stands out to me is the green arrows due to their bright complexion. The purple and green go well together, yet the yellow doesn't tend to stand out due to it being a bright color on top of a bright color. Underneath the green arrows are shadows, used to make them seem as if they were levetating above a second surface. shadows are applied to the text on the page to also give the allusion of floating and three dimensions. The pink-ish arrows in the background add great contrast to the rest of the peice and help create almost a playful mood. A 'crackled' filter applied to the lime green arrows gives great allusion of texture, almost as if I could feel the roughness or coarseness of the surface. Underneath the green arrows are shadows, used to make them seem as if they were levetating above a second surface. shadows are applied to the text on the page to also give the allusion of floating and three dimensions. The pink-ish arrows in the background add great contrast to the rest of the peice and help create almost a playful mood.
