What is a font? What is it supposed to look like? What are you trying to say when you use a bold font, or an italicized font? DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I MEAN WHEN I TYPE IN ALL CAPITALS?

This semester I’ll be studying typography in one of my classes and our first assignment is to come up with 100 variations on the letter of our choosing. 5o of them must be made by me, the other 50 can be found.
I picked the letter B.
Since the teacher didn’t really specify how to find the 50… I figured why not try something different?
I wanna see your B’s. Where do you see a B? I’m not talking about your standard B. I’m talking about seeing a B in something. For example, my friend Jax saw a B in this headlight. Do you?
The Letter B can also just be a great use of the letter in an advertisement poster for a business or event. Such as this poster from Good Records for the Black Angels / Black Mountain show.
So, where do you see a B? Let me know by sending me your B’s and when I’ve gotten them all in, I’ll upload them to a new post and link back to your site, Facebook, Twitter. Whatever you want. As long as it’s not pornographic in nature.
